This is beyond fashionably late – last week, I got a chance to escape the mad KL heat and it was free to boot. With the Advertlets gang, we made our way up to a fun 2 days to celebrate Labour Day. Any reason for fireworks is a good reason.
This is a looong post. Ready?
The day started dark and wet. But it’s always good to get all the rain out of the way.

Derek Yap the self proclaimed shopaholic with his killer white shades and orange hair.

Leonard Chua’s hand did most of the photography initially.

Passing through the familiar hallways to our room in One World Hotel, I stumbled upon something less familiar. You can so imagine opening the doors and seeing the room on fire with a guy in a black suit with red hair and pointy horns looking back to you and asking,”what’s up?”

Ok, the first to guess how I took this picture will get a free Teh Tarik from me.
Some people on the trip. If you’re not here, sorry. I was too shy to take your picture without your permission.

Timothy Low the flogger (food blogger) from 3-meals.com

Derek Yap (seriously, I don’t know why I ended up with so many pictures of him)

Leonard Chua (another guy that couldn’t get away from my camera)

Josh, Renee Tay (gurlfren) and Tunku Tiara
We had a little briefing when we arrived. I now know which restaurant is halal/non-halal and Genting consumes about 1 tonne of chicken a day.

The following pictures are TOTALLY taken out of context. Enjoy.

David was suffering from a migraine. There, that’s your context.
Next up! We’re taking it outdoors.
